This gestational diabetes (GDM) app is, at its core, a learning management system, aimed at delivering self-efficacy and health literacy information, specifically for women with GDM. Through this app, I am to equip women with the technical knowledge and appropriate mental strategies to help them successfully manage their condition and improve birth outcomes, the babys long-term health and the mothers long-term risk of future chronic disease.
